Dr Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles

I received my Dr Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles last night from Bzzagent.  The kit contained a "welcome to the campaign", an info guide, one set of insoles for women size 6-9, and 8 $5 off coupons.

I had planned on putting these in my gym shoes which are not that old but after about 30 min on the treadmill my feet start to hurt.  BUT, the original insoles are glued into the shoe and since they are not that old I don't want to rip them out.  So I cut them down to put in my boots

The original insoles come right out so I used them as a guide to cut the Dr Scholl's down.  That took a LOT of trimming and I got frustrated and gave up last night.  So I went at it again today and finally got them to fit in my boots.  However when I put them in with out the original insoles it just didn't feel right so I put the originals back in and put the Dr Scholl's on top.  They felt fine when I put them on and walked around the house but the gel would squish and my foot would slip around inside the boot.  I took them off because I wasn't going anywhere or doing anything and when I went to put them back on I could not get the Dr Scholls to lay down flat and I have what my husband calls "the princess and the Pea syndrome"  I feel ever little thing in my shoes and can't stand any sort of lump so I had to take them out before we left for dinner and a few errands.

I'm really disappointed because I was really looking forward to these and especially after how long it took to trim the inserts down to the right size.  But so far all the bzz reports I have read have been nothing but good so it is probably just me and my freaky issues.

If you have tried these please let me know what you think.

BzzAgent

BzzAgent is a free site that matches products with its members to test and review.  You sign up (yes, its FREE), answer some surveys to see what products would be right for you.  They send you the product free of charge (its a very rare occasion that they ask you to purchase the product and in this case they typically send you a coupon for it) along with some info and ask you to try the product out and tell people about it (including what you don't like) then submit reviews and report conversations.

I haven't been active in about a year but in the past have gotten some cool items to test.  I recently started filling out the surveys again and have been asked to test and "bzz" about Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles.

I have never used any type of insole inserts before and plan on putting these in my gym shoes and see if I can increase my time on the treadmill.  Normally my feet start to hurt after 30 min so lets hope these help.

If you want to join all you have to do is visit www.bzzagent.com and sign up.  Its free, you are not obligated to participate in a campaign  if it doesn't interest you and you do not have to spend any money unless you choose to.  They just ask that you are honest and up front when you talk about the products you are trying and tell anyone you talk to that you are a bzzagent and received the item from them.

Redeeming quality

Clay and I have lived in a lot of houses in the last 7 years and each one has something about it that we like about it.  Clay has 10 more years till he retires from the Marine Corps and we dream of the day we get to own our own home.   The plus side to living in all these different houses is we find things we like, don't like, and things we thought we would like but don't.  Hopefully this knowledge will help us in our quest to find our forever home because once we are out of the military I really do not want to move ever again.

House number one was in Beaufort,Sc.  We lived there for about 4 1/2 months before we PCSed.  It was a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath house with a one car garage.  It had a fantastic large storage closet in the hall way and a nice screened in back porch.

House number two was a civilian rental in Twenty-nine Palms,Ca  it was a two bedroom one bath house that we lived in for 3 months while waiting for base housing.  The landlord was horrible, it had a swamp cooler which means you have to have a window open in what ever room you want air to flow to but only one bedroom and the living room had screens,  we only had a key to the front door not the door from the garage, the front door liked to pop open even when locked, and when we asked the land lord to fix these things our let us fix them and reduce the cost from the rent he sent his brother over to piddle with the issue but never actually fixed the problem.  Its redeeming quality was two car garage and the view of the city and base at night and dawn since it was on higher ground.

House number three was on base in Twenty-nine Palms,Ca.  It had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a one car garage.  We lived in that house for a year and 4 months.  It had a nice kitchen even if it wasn't that large or fancy and there was lots of storage in the garage plus room for my car.

House number 4 was also on base in Twenty-nine Palms,Ca.  Housing was remodeling the older houses so they moved us.  It was a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a two car garage. It had a HUGE laundry room with a counter for folding clothes and there was a large storage closet off the laundry room and a storage closet out back.  I do not have a pic of the front of this house.

House number 5 was in Beaufort,Sc and we lived there for 3 1/2 years.  It was our first ever two story house.  It had 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths and a one car garage.  It had a really nice front porch where we liked to sit and visit with neighbors while the kids played.  It was also across the street from the neighborhood park.

the left half was ours

House number 6 is in Virgina Beach,Va.  where we are currently living.  We have been here for a year and 3 months.  Its a 3 bedroom 3 bath one car garage civilian rental.  I think the only thing good I can say about it is it has a large fenced in back yard.  The reason we stay is because they accept our dog who because of his breeds (half rott, half chow) is banned from base even though he was grandfathered into the last base where we were stationed when the ban took effect.  I can not find a pic of this house right now and it is currently raining so I am not going outside to take one.

We have done a lot of moving but it has been kind of fun to live in new places and decorate and organize new spaces.
