Nail Polish

Its been a while since I have posted.  I keep saying I am going to get better about posting more often but so far it hasn't happened. Oops.

For the past few days I have been on a major nail polish kick.  It happens every now and then but I stopped wearing it about 5 1/2 years ago while I was pregnant with David because the smell was too strong for me while pregnant then I just didn't wear it when the kids were babies because they liked to put my hands in their mouths.

I had to toss a lot of nail polish a few years ago and had only bought about 4 new bottles in the last couple years so I have had to buy some to satisfy this kick.  Its been great because right now Sally Beauty Supply is having a buy two get one free sale on all nail polish stock.  I have found several fantastic colors.

Here is a sample of what I have acquired.

This is my favorite so far, its called Dress Me up from The Hunger Games Capitol Colors collection by China Glaze.  This picture does not do it justice.  It is more of a dusty pink than copper.

This is Foie Gras also from the Capitol Color collection.  In some lights it looks brownish but in others it looks more purple.  I really like this one also.
This is Fast Track from the Capitol Colors collection.  It is very shear and took three coats to get this look.
The next is Strawberry Fields modeled by Amelia.  She picked this color out all by herself.
And the last one I have tried is Exceptionally Gifted.  Its a very pale pink, good for Easter/spring time.

I have several more to try out.  My nails are very flimsy so polish doesn't last very long unless I get acrylic overlays which get expensive to keep up since even though they are flimsy my nails grow very fast.  So I end up having to changed it ever couple of days if not every day so I will show the rest as I try them out.
